Sea of Stars is an upcoming role-playing video game developed by Sabotage Studio. It serves as a prequel to the game “The Messenger” from 2018.
The plot of Sea of Stars revolves around two heroes named Valere and Zale, who harness the power of the sun and moon to fight against an alchemist[1]. The game features turn-based combat with elements of timing-based hits, combo attacks, boosting, various types of damage, and spell-breaking.
Players can control up to six characters and must discover the enemies’ elemental weaknesses. The game was inspired by other well-known role-playing games such as Illusion of Gaia, Breath of Fire, and Chrono Trigger.
The game world of Sea of Stars is the same as that of The Messenger, but it takes place thousands of years before the events of the first game.
